Deepest Blue

I love Blue. I really love deep blue. This piece is unique and an exploration is pigments floating over a textured background. Flowing.

I shared some of my process on Instagram- floating pigments of gold and white and blues with various solvents over an absorbent ground plaster. It was pure pleasure to watch the interaction and to slightly nudge it.

So organic and beautiful!

This beautiful abstract painting alludes to a landscape (I am clearly in my landscape period) and includes deep dark blues and whites and gold. Some of the secondary colors are lighter blues and grey that have been created as the pigments flowed together. Crackling and texture added for depth.

This painting doesn’t not require a frame the sides are painting in the Deepest Blue to coordinate. She is a beauty!
